Interested in a GP for Samco air inlet hose?
I want to see if anyone is interested in a GP for Samco air inlet hose. I know someone did post this topic a while back and I am not sure if the GP went through. I have not been in the forum for a while, so I am not too aware of any recent GPs. Please post if you are interested.

Oh yeah, I really need this product because of the shi*ty quality of the Vortex ram air. I don't even think I am sucking in any air from the filter, because all of the air is leaking out of the connection between the vortex duct and the stock accordian hose. Because the samco hose are made of silicone, they should have a more snug fit around the duct.
Also, let me know if anyone know of any authorized dealers for samco products.
Thanks,
Paul

Zelement,
I originally posted about a GP for this. The problem is that they do not make it. There was some talk about getting a mold done through a supporting vendor but interest waned. I would be IN for a group purchase.

Yeh, I didn't think Samco made an application for the LT1/4 either. They have a kit for the LT5 but not for the *much* larger LT1/4 market. Go figger!
I think someone posted ages ago that they spoke with Samco (aren't they a UK company) and they were willing to make the pieces but it would cost big $$$.
Whatever, I'd be interested if this is possible. My Vortex sucks too, just in the wrong places!

Why not do what Mackey did and make your own? Save all that money and don't even do it, made no difference in his car.

Jim, I think you can use the ones from 90-91 L98s. Is your intake hose one piece?

Hey guys!! I'm the one who was tryin' to get a GP goin for the hoses. There is a good amount of interest in them but they aint cheap. Samco can get them in a group purchase for about $150. The only place that carries the hoses that I could find is LPE. They have the ZR1 and the 1 piece L98 hose. But, the L98 will fit the single hose LT1, the 2 piece LT1's need to do the GP through Samco. LPE carries the hoses for$199.
