Default Couple of exhaust questions.

I'm looking into replacing my stock exhaust and I want to go with an LT tip in the end. What I have been looking at is these:
http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?p...dept%5Fid=1267

Does anyone have any experince with these? They also make them in an elim style, but not sure if I want to go that route as i'm thinking of eliminating the cats too..which leads me to my next question...

Will an 84/85 style front Y-pipe with no pre cats fit my 86? I'd like to take all the cats out... would this lead to any other issues such as SES lights?

Thanks

Jim

I have no experience with muffler elims, but I have a custom 2 1/2" SS front Y-pipe to eliminate those pre-cats.

I believe Eckler's and MAD offer the front Y-pipe in several sizes and materials. Though I had bad luck with the MAD Y-pipe, several people here like it.

Ecklers does offer an front Y pipe that eliminates the front pre cats and they say it is EPA approved. A set of Hooker headers can also eliminate the front pre cats
