Default Expected Power Boost from High Flow converter

I just purchased the Magnaflow Cat back system and as part of the holiday special they are including their stainless 3" High flow direct fit converter. They will be installed on my '91 L-98. The rep from Hottexhaust could not give me the expected gains from the converter, but did say that the stock converter is pretty restrictive on C-4. Any thoughts on how much more in power should be gained in addition to the cat back system itself??

Thanks and SAVE THE WAVE

I wouldnt expect more than between 5-10hp, and on the low side of that.

I can't say how much more power you will get. But allong with replacing the cat replace the front Y pipe with one that is less the precats. I did mine this year and it woke the car right up. I installed the 2 1/2 pipe size the stock ones are 2 1/4". got mine from Mid America.
