All of this is why i took my headers back off and put the stock ones back on. too much work, for such a small gain. headers can drive you nuts, they cost a lot and there a pain in the *** most of the time.

??Huh??
He had an intake leak, even iron exhaust manifolds will glow under certain conditions.
When installed on a properly running/tuned engine, Long Tube headers provide a significant performance improvement.
If you buy quality components and install them properly headers are not a PITA.
true, headers do help, but im going to make this point. some people pay $800.00 for headers through tpis, that is a huge waste of money for the gains it gives you, for that much money you can have your heads done and gain a really noticeable 50 to 60 hp. that's all im saying i think some people think that this is going to make a dramatic, tire shredding improvement in power, and it really doesn't.

I don't think your going to see those 50-60 hp gains with ported heads and stock exhaust. Headers, Ported Heads, Cam shaft and other supporting mods should work in synergy with each other.
