Back in BL4CK

Guys is there a difference in these mufflers in terms of sound and performance.Are the Targa style mufflers quieter or not?The Cat on my '85 has been gutted so would muffler elliminators be excessively loud?Obviously many of you swear by elliminators as a very cost efficient option when replacing your stock mufflers which I'm planning to do .And cost is a big facter as I'd have to have them shipped to New Zealand (if I went for Targa's).Your opinions would be appreciated.
