aux. fan relay question

aux. fan relay question
Cannot find aux fan relay. have 1988, hayes manual says that they are located on left side of shroud, but I have only one relay there. Does anyone know where other one is. Thanks

I followed wires to a plug & harness but did not see a relay, is the area you are talking about by front of car

Yes, the front of the car. The relay is just to the left of the headlight and the plug/connector you found has two wires that go to the fan relay. Keep following the wires after the plug/conn.

The one you found on the left side of the radiator shroud is the aux fan relay.
The main fan relay is located on the inside rear of the left wheel well shroud, just below and to the left of the master cylinder.

its amazing how the setups changed over the years....on my 85, the aux fan relay is on the firewall under the master cyilnder, and the main relay is on the "fender well" right behind the driver side front tire. just in case they are not where everybody says, you have other options to look at :D
