i was looking at the voodoos too. i want lift in a non-roller block, and the voodoos got it. some opinions on what would and wouldn't need a chip and pass emissions would be nice.

I wish, Ive been dying to build a motor this year but a series of financial disasters back to back the last 4 mos have the 89 remaining stock for awhile.

Geez I know how you feel about that one! I have a new engine sitting at the machine shop waiting to be completed as well. I have Glens engine down there as well, but the good thing is that I know what that engine is going to do because I have already dyno tested Glens engine which is a twin to mine. His engine made over 575hp during one dyno test in 5th Gear!! That means that had I tested it in 4th gear like I should have, I am sure that the dyno curve would went well over 600hp on that pass! I did it in 5th because the car kept blowing the tires off the rollers So not only can't I complete my engine, it makes it even worse because I know the potential power levels of that engine
