Interesting... an asset to our electrical systems or snake oil?
I've not heard of these before, has anyone else? Although I was in the battery business at one time, it's been over 15 years ago and nothing like this existed at that time. If it works as advertised it would be a boon, as a top performing battery is more critical in our and other modern cars than ever. I generally replace a battery within three years, even if it's still performing well, just for the reasons stated within. Here's the link, see what you think.

I read about that in 4Wheeler, they loved it and are using it on several light truck applications.

They do make a 12 volt SLI application under Marine, boats & watercraft...
I could see this extending the life of a weak (older) battery or maybe one that has been discharged too many times and just wont crank under load load like it used to....
This begs the question...
Which is better the Desulphated battery or a new one?........
available in 12 volt and 24 volt models (to match the voltage of your electrical system), for both SLI and deep-cycle batteries

Ahh I gotchyaIt can't hurt... Sulphation is a process we cant really stop, so I imagine reversal to be the next best thing... How much longer would this product extend the life of a fresh battery over one without is the million dollar question

Didn't look at price-but I'm wondering just how cost effective it would be for guys like you and me? considering a GOOD battery for what $70.
that we replace every 36-48 months-compared to the cost of one of these? don't know-just thought I'd throw it out there.

Several companies make lead acid battery chargers that supply a high frequency pulsed waveform charging current which they claim removes lead sulphate from battery plates. I cannot verify that it works, nor can I find anything in technical literature that supports their claims. Lead acid batteries are degraded by lead sulfate collecting on battery plates because lead sulphate is an insulator and reducing plate area reduces amphour capacity. If you can reduce lead sulphate, you can recover a car battery to it original new condition. I will start looking for info from respected sources that pulsed charging reduces lead sulphate.

Burning Brakes
We use/install alot of what is know as "Solargizers" by Pulstech on all of out Tactical (Army) equipment. Can't swear if it really works, but we blow big bucks on battery replacement (trucks can have two, four, or even six batteries), so anything that helps.
