After just starting to dig into the troubleshooting of a problem with my CCM/ECM (see link below) the problem I am having seems to be healing itself. It started working occasionally this past weekend and was working most of the day yesterday. If it continues to improve it will be completely healed on its own.
Actually this has me believing that there is a bad ground issue and I am going to track all the gound points down and inspect them for corrosion and security. We'll see what happens.
The SECURITY light and power locks still remain to be a problem.
Well, I *think* my ECM had a because it would magically stall the car randomly, especially during warmup. I replaced it yesterday with a spare one and reused my memcal. So far, no stalling yet. If I can determine that the old ECM was the one that was giving me all of these intermittent stalling problems, I'm just gonna have to take my old ECM and run it over and burn it afterwards. I never knew ECMs could just randomly go bad, but I guess that's just the way it works...
