Default How to reprogram for new rear gears.

I have a 95 VERT A4 (4L60E tranny with 3.07 rear gears). I am looking to get an upgrade to 3.54 or 3.73 rear gears. Assuming I go ahead with this, does anyone have experience with this, and know how to reprogram the proper shift points needed to compensate for the rear gear change. Rear tires are stock.

Check out tunercat.com. I think 95 is an "EE" mask flash chip.

You should be able to find lots of info there, or on moates.net.

Anyone use FASTCHIP to have their computer reprogrammed for rear gears or other tuneups?

I think they are more for PRE-94. Im about to do the same with my 94, i have the 3.33:1 DANA 44 sitting there ready, and im planning on using TunerCat to do the job. ECM definition required is indeed EE as stated by tequilaboy.

Also, use this site here: http://www.f-body.org/gears/ to figure out what sort of speeds you want to set for each gear, if you select 93-97 F-Body A4 this will bring up the transmission ratios, then just manually fill in the tire size and rear end ratio.
