Default AC Noise

What would cause my belt to squeal when I turn on my AC? It stops after 30 seconds or so. I still have my frisbee on (1989 L89). Does something have to be lubed on the compressor or other component?
Thanks in advance.

Wrong belt size or worn out tensioner (check the alignment marks); worn compressor (outer hub should turn the shaft with minimal resistance with it off); too large of an air gap between outer hub and pulley causing it to slip (specs are .020 - check it with it off).

Belt is correct and the compressor hub does spin with little resistance. I'll check the gap and tensioner tonite. Where are the alignment marks?
thanks

It's marked on the Tensioner - a couple of lines indicating range, but it can be a bit confusing - hopefully someone will post a pic.
