Pull the wheel, pull the guts and your there... I know its alot more involved than that, but couldn't resist...
the part down to the ign lock is very easy and visual once your in there, the part thats required is removal of the ign lock, which could be tricky without a FSM (field svc manual of some sort)...once thats outa the way, its undo connector, cut wires, pull out, fish new wires and connector thru columb, connect and reassemble.
