Anyone without cats and mufflers?
Im thinking of gutting all of my cats and cutting the mufflers off, has anyone done this? Should I leave the precats? There are no smog checks or any other emission thing that I know of. Also, whats the little tube coming from the side of the main cat? I'll post a pic in a bit.

Re: Anyone without cats and mufflers? (vettes rule)
I've gutted the main cat and am running muffler elim's. I still have the pre-cats in place. I'm not overly joyed at the way it sounds at idle, tho it's not too bad. But the way it sounds at WOT makes up for any misgivings I might have had.

The tube is from the AIR pump. I believe it helps the converter reach operating temp sooner, but I could be wrong. If the cat's gutted, it doesn't do much of anything.
