I finally ifxed the infamous headlight problem.. they would continue running after they closed.. the one side sometimes would get hungup half way open..etc..etc.. Well i wanted to run with my headlights on during the day as support for our country problem was the headlights were fickel!! So thanks to Mr. CJ for suppling me with some new bushings for 12 bucks or so they worked great.. I removed both headlight assemblies and dissasembled, cleaned, replaced the buhsings (that were ground down to powder) and reinstalled in less than an hour.. very easy job!!!

has anyone else thought this job was gonna be so easy?

Now I have to rebuild the light son the '64... they open.. just real sllllloooooowwwww :crazy:

Congrats on a job well done.

But please don't tell me that you are an advocate of DTRLs! I'm a member of the group against DTRLs; trying to keep the Gov from giving us another "safety feature".
