How should I describe my exhaust?
I am just wondering how I would describe to someone what kind of exhaust I have? What it is is no precats with straight pipes going all the way back with two mufflers at the rear. Would I just say that it's "custom"? Or is there another term for this kind of mod? I just want to know and understand what I have. Thanks people.

nah, straight pipes is what ive got. no precats, no main cat, and muffler eliminators. this makes for a very mean growl at idle and a thunderous roar at WOT, but there is that popping/rasping noise. mufflers would take care of that though. if you have mufflers with no cat or pres, id just say you have a very free flowing exaust system. i bet it sounds good like that though.

True duals - I've never heard that terminology. (Can you tell I'm a newbie? - Actually I've been a Vette owner for 12 months now.) Thanks for all the input people. And yes, it does sound very good!
