86 Vette Wire Diagram
I am putting my dash back together and am wondering about a certain wire. Its a black wire coming out of the back of the Function select switches. This is the unit that tells you oil pressure, coolant temp etc. You can manually select these swithes along with other things. ITs located right above the radio. On the back of this units top harness there is a solid black wire going into the unit with a number 8 on it. Is this a ground? If so, where is its grounding point? I have the manual but i cant seem to find a description of the wires coming out the back.

follow up... the only thing i can see in the book is on page 8a-14-1 on the supplemental wire diagram that came with the manual. Is the Telltale assembly in the book the same at the function control module? If so, is this grounded to the bunch of grounds in t
