Roadster deck won't open
For the first time in many months it was time to go topless in my 89 roadster, undid all handels but when U hit the button to release the deck,NOTHING, tried button on passenger side and the same results, is there a fuse or something that I need to look at, always befor there was a deffinate click and it partially lifted itself, ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

hmm, in mine there is also a release button on the front inside wall of the console. You might try that also. I also think there is a manual release, which is a pain the rear to reach, under thye deck lid in the back. I'll go look at mine and try to get back to you.

My 87 manual shows a solenoid by the latch. This maybe controlled by a fuse called "hatch auto", controls both doors and storage compartment. It says located in Fuse holder-part of I/P harness (3A). Not sure what that means...

If your solenoid does not work there is a manual release that you can use. It consists of two levers, one on each side. (If it is the same as my '96.) THey are not easy to see though. Each is located down near the carpet above the rear wheel well hump.
