Default Best brake lines for daily driver.. Stainless Steel or rubber?

Whats he best brake lines for daily driver.. Stainless Steel or rubber? also if stainless is the way to go where is the best place to get them?

I guess my only concern with the stainless steel is that it will trap the moisture in and rot the lines prematurely.

Thanks in advance!

The lines are teflon and will not rot. Grit trapped in there can be bad though. I would get a set that are coated or wrap them to prevent dirt (metal from brake pads to) inside the steel.

Any brake system will get moisture after a time because of the nature of brake fluid. This is why the system should be thoroughly flushed every year or two at the most. The stainless flex hoses will have no affect on this one way or the other. There are several good ones. I have the Earls and reports on them here have generally been favorable.

I go with rubber lines on the DD's. When I've run SS lines for daily use in the past, they would cut through their stays after a while (stainless wrap rubbing on the rubber grommets). If you check your lines regularly, it won't be a problem, though.

OEM 'Rubber' lines. A drawback to this is that the OEM are often
more costly than the aftermarket braided lines.

Braided stainless lines are promoted on the benefit of better pedal
feel, but when the vehicle already has fresh fluid, the difference
of the braided lines alone is not that significant.

I have braided lines. As a precaution, I had intended to replace them
after five years of service. However, I noticed that Earl's and others
have redesigned their hose ends to incorporate what appears to be
a strain-relief and I may change the hoses earlier.
