Right now when i lock my car then go to unlock it by using my key in the driver side door it doesnt turn off the alarm. I have to use my key in the passanger side door first then the drivers. Is there a way to deactivate the alarm so it doesnt sound anymore??
Do you have PKE? Im not sure what years that was around. If you DO, you can completely deactivate it by putting your key in the ignition and holding the door lock button on your fob. When you press it the locks should cycle and one of them is "off"
I have that problem in my 95, if I try and unlock the door with my key off goes the alarm. Quite annoying, but it pretty much just means noone can get into my car with the spare set of keys without me knowing

Yeah, but it would be just as easy to just remove the drivers door panel and clean or replace the alarm disable switch that's behind the keyhole. It's supposed to ground out the signal wire to the alarm module when the key is turned all the way.
The alarm can be disabled by removing the center dash plastic, there's a fuse behind where the guage switches are, or behind the check engine lights.
