Neapco brute force it is ... I just ordered 4 @ $16 each today myself from a place called Fleet Pride they specialize in this type of stuff .
This product is highly recommend and the great thing is I spoke to someone who owns a Corvette himself and said these U- Joints cant be beat " wonder if he's a forum member himself "
All I have to say about Spicer is Thanks for giving up on us Corvette guys with Aluminum axles...You lose
Thank You severe-1 I wont be hating on you... you deserve props

Not wanting to compromise on this issue, I just ordered a pair of the best 2-0785 Neapco "performance dynamics" coated joints for aluminum driveshafts. Ordered them through a local HD truck drivetrain service outfit. No problems ordering them at all.

i am so freaking mad right now. i tried going to pep boys right now with neapco part numbers and the good people at pepboys would not order them for me. they said that they have never heard of alumnaguard coating. they have the ones that are not coated and have never heard of this mystery coating. they will only order the non coated ones.
i am going to have to find a real autoparts store.

I'm on the 3rd set of axle u-joints in a little over 10 years. This time I used Spicers. I did a lot of research on u-joints and posted a ton of info (in C4 Gen archives) if you want to search. I wouldn't touch the other brands mentioned if they were free.
