Usually it's the drivers side that goes first from my experience.

hey rep, what part numbers did you order? i called neapco and they gave me different part numbers from what they listed in thier pdf link.

they also said that neapco brute force are sold through autozone and pepboys.

Not wanting to compromise on this issue, I just ordered a pair of the best 2-0785 Neapco "performance dynamics" coated joints for aluminum driveshafts. Ordered them through a local HD truck drivetrain service outfit. No problems ordering them at all.

i am so freaking mad right now. i tried going to pep boys right now with neapco part numbers and the good people at pepboys would not order them for me. they said that they have never heard of alumnaguard coating. they have the ones that are not coated and have never heard of this mystery coating. they will only order the non coated ones.

i am going to have to find a real autoparts store.

Or you can just do it right the 1st time and buy Spicers http://www.drivetrainspecialists.com/

I'm on the 3rd set of axle u-joints in a little over 10 years. This time I used Spicers. I did a lot of research on u-joints and posted a ton of info (in C4 Gen archives) if you want to search. I wouldn't touch the other brands mentioned if they were free.
