Cool video, glad you got the 'W'.

It's nice to see someone finally finish a VS thread.

My L98 has 3 bolt ons; headers, cat back, and nitrous. I fear no Cobalt.

Id say its pretty even no offense 4Ever21.
The stock tires on the Balt suck ***

1\4 mile times

07 Cobalt SS\SC stock = 14.4 -inline 4 -2.0 liter S\C
85 Corvette Stock=14.1 - V8 - 5.7 liter
The Corvette is 4/10ths. quicker according to the times you posted which by the way are worthless. If it weren't for the FWD and the torque the times would be a little better ?? If my aunt had a dick she would be my uncle. Good luck getting that thing to run in the 14's
hell you're afraid to track it once in fear of breaking it. Hell the girl the o.p. works with wasn't afraid to run hers Stage two and she still lost so quit hyping that little ****box, ain't nobody buying it. Quit telling us what you think it will run, until you've done it you're just talking ****.

It would be fun to see what it does
Did they give you a lifetime supply of KY when you bought it?

I hope the Cobalt catches on with ricers. GM needs all the help it can get. Dodge has been selling a ton of neons, I see more of those SRT4s at the track than anything else.

If your aunt had a dick she wouldn't be driving a Cobalt.

Should have saved some, you will need it when you take that thing to the dealer, cause you would'nt want to void anything.

I heard they are going Turbo in 2008 as rumored
I believe they are going to share the same 2.0 the soltice has.

My point is almost any idiot can run a low 14 in an early L98 Corvette.
Running a 14.4 in that COBALT would be a bitch. According to you the stage two would easily put the Cobalt into the 13's

But if you put the stage 2 that GMPP offers it will bring that car easly in the 13s and push boost up to 15 lbs instead of 12.5 lbs.

Go to the track you'll see C6's and C5 Z06's in the 13's easy. Running the numbers the car is capable of is not as easy as most people think. I have a friend with a C6 Z who according to him with slicks it's a 10 second car. It might be but with him driving it runs mid 12's

If I recall correctly, the Cobalt also has Stage 2 bolt ons which add a lot of power over stock. Cobalts are a girly car, hands down.

Also I think it needs to be pointed out that this is a 21 year old sports car that, lets face it, didnt exactly come from the factory with a ton of power racing against a brand new car.

With Repzard driving, the best the Cobalt can do is a DNF.

Sorry the fact that im trying to get across is the Cobalt ss\sc is a 4 banger that ran with that V8.

Im not looking to start a argument out of this thread .
But the Cobalt SS\SC is a pretty fast car for it class.

The only other cars in it class that can beat it are the SRT4 "just barley"
And the WRX turbo.

And for this car to be able to keep up with a V8 I think it deserves some credit.
