Well, the 26mm is pretty common. You let me know when a link turns
up for the 28mm mentioned above.
While I agree that a 28mm rear would seem likely to better balance a
32mm front, as far as I know a 28mm rear is not available. There is still
the matter of the relatively soft rear spring, adequate chassis stiffness
to enable the suspension to work and compliance over road unevenness.

My vote is that the 32T/24S combo would not be at all satisfying
on an otherwise stock '89.
'89 CPE FE1 93.1/39.9 N/mm springs with 26T/22S bars, 275/275 on 9.5/9.5 wheels.
My vote is that even with the stiffer rear spring, the 32mm front bar is
too big. I feel that without chassis stiffeners like the R-D Camber-Brace,.

1) I do have the camber brace installed now.
2) I am running 18x10F and 18x11R wheels with 275/35/18F and 295/35/18R.
Do either of these make any difference when choosing the upgrades? (I assume yes, but I don't know what :-))
Thanks again,
Ron

This is what I am going to try
Step 1. Locate a 26MM rear and install it.
Step 2 Better tires. Goodyears, Bridgestones, etc...
Step 3 Look at different springs and different shocks
BTW I have a R&D Camber brace and a Arizona Sppe and Marine Harness bar. I am looking for a Cross Frame.
Anyone have a cheep 26 mm rear bar?

You could try taking the camber brace off to, it likely adds understeer and is extra weight. I haven't seen anyone post faster lap times with one. Heim joints on the rear sway may help the understeer as well. Atleast put poly in.
