Has anyone tried the pink top Bosch injectors in a stock L98? If so, how did they work out?

I have Bosch 24# in my '90 vert and I am quite happy with the performance and reliability. Furthermore I would not put pink anything on my car. IMO

Bought them from 50motorsports last july $300 for 8 with shipping my car runs like it just came off the assembly line.I have a 1991 L98 vette highly recommend.

Too many members have been ripped off by fiveomotorsports. I would not buy anything from them.

How difficult is it to replace injectors? I'm not much of a wrench.

It would be nice to have a step by step guide to replace them. What NEEDS to be removed, what DOES NOT need to be removed. I have a leaky injector or 2 that over night my rail pressure is ZERO, so I know I need to replace them. Can do it myself, but a nice step by step would be great. At least a point to a post here that has the info.

Canoeman: use the search function, its been written before... Search, Advance, Archive posts and you should find what your looking for,,, also a FSM would be helpful...

Everything!

It took me all after noon the first time I replaced mine. I'm betting I could cut that time in half the second time around since I know what I'm doing now.

Also, fair warning, the pink tops are quite noisy.

Default Torx bolts
I am replacing my but waiting for the new bolts to arrive as I will not put the torx head bolts back. It would be a much easier job with normal bolts.

Have them also... no problems, fit fine, didn't need the clips, and she's been fine for a yr now...

Here is a procedure on replacing the injectors in a L98 engine without removing the runners. This was requested in a comment above.

This is a relatively simple job assuming you have basic tools and some patience
