Default intake extrude honing

hello again fellas,
if i was to keep my pain in the a_rse install super ram intake,
i saw a couple of places that do extrude honing to intakes.
apparently although very expensive process can give quite very good gains.
it removes metal in hard to reach places and smooths out the metal to give a nice smooth finish and enlarges the runners/ports as well of course.
so end result each runner/port should flow some more cfm,s i guess.
what are you opiouns please?
can this help some performance gain for the super ram and if so,what would it help in more rpms,or torque may be?
thank you
regards
shae

when i called "extrude hone" back when i was looking into it, they flat-out told me cost vs. benefit renders it barely worth it. a matter of conjecture and opinion of course, so i took the low road and didn't invest. my weasly 355cid didn't cry out for such extra added expense. might be different for a larger cube engine though, i'm not certain.

When I looked into this a few years back (memory...... ) it was very Very expensive for the benefits gained.......I decided to pass on this due to the costs.
