how hard is the C5 brake conversion?

It's just turning some bolts, nothing to it really. I found the hardest part to be getting a wrench onto the adapter bolts that was large enough to put down some serious torque. 160 ft/lbs +/- 15, the FSM lists, and space is limited. Jacking up the car higher, helps. My big torque wrench would flex and use up valuable space. The only other thing, you need a 10/12 brake line wrench if you are going to change the lines.

It's worth it for track use! For street use, I wouldn't bother. Some do it just for looks though. You would also need adapter plates and different wheels since the stock '93 wheels will not fit the C5 caliper.

It's definitely worth it...didn't notice as huge of a diffence as I did when I put teh C5's on my 87 Z28,
but still very nice!
As for difficulty, piece of cake...if not, it wouldn't take a shop more than a couple hours at teh very most...
But I accidently put mine on in my sleep....
