1986 belts routing pic's wanted:
Hi everyone,
I have a nice '86 Vette that I bought without and engine.
I now since installed a 1968 327 CID motor with a carb and I have removed the air conditioner because it will spend nearly all of it's time at the (road course) tracks.
I would like to ask people that have the C-4 series cars with non-stock engines to show me pictures of how they routed their power steering, alternator, and water pumps belts.
V-belts or serpentine style belts work, as well as other methods???
Thanks so much!

Also, I now noticed a couple of pictures where the power steering makes the pump turn clockwise and others turning counter-clockwise...
What should the stock 1986 Vette pump be doing???

I have removed the A/C pump and AIR pump on my 1984 to make room for a Turbo.
I replaced the water pump with a standard rotation waterpump and made a new upper alternator bracket to adjust belt tension.

That does help, thanks!
So the steering goes the opposite direction of the motor and alternator.....
You wouldn't happen to have pictures of that setup (turbo)?
Are the stock pulleys still on the parts, that being still serpentine style?
I appreciate it-

Hey, I really appreciate the pic's.
Mine will be different because I already have an electric water pump in place, but the pic's show me the brackets and routing.
Your car must be quite fast!
Thanks-

My car did not come with the right power sterring pump pulley, and I had no idea how hard it was going to be to get one, (no longer sold by Chevy or the normal parts stores) but I did find a used one now and hopefully will get this all going by this weekend!
