Does my '85 have the auxiliary fan?
It doesn't have the 'b4p' option code, but it is a z-51, does that mean it has it? I unfortunately have stored it for the winter and can't get to it before this weekend, which is Vettefest in Chicago. I'm looking to get the low temp fan switch and need to know if I need the harness also.

Look under the nose and into the air scoop and if you have the aux fan, you will see it. External fan turn on kits usually don't control the aux fan which has its own thermostatic switch in the block between cyl # 1 & 3, green wire with a white stripe. The block switch turns on the aux fan at 238 F.

My '85 has a code of "VO8" which is "heavy duty cooling" and includes the oil cooler and auxiliary fan.
