Default What is a good cam for 383/TPI?

What cam specs would work well for a daily driver 383 using stock 85 TPI (until I get LPE intake/base)? I would be using 24 lb injectors, no NOS or supercharger. Thanks.

Are you using the 1985 block? What are is your rear gear ratio? Are planning on changing the gears? Headers? From what i read here you want a cam to get you buy until major changes are made.I would use this Howard cam in that block. It is a small base circle 215/225@0.50 440-465 lift 112 lsa .It is 100 bucks through Competition Products. That is if you only need a cam to get by with for a while. If not there are many choices
