What is the weight difference between an 18X10.5 Z06 vs. a 17X11 ZR1style rear wheel? Let’s make them after market too with no tires. I may be wrong here but isn't the ZR1 A-mold style stronger than the earlier

. I bought a set of NEW C5 Z06 rims not repo's. The front rim weighed in at around 18 lbs(17x9.5), and the rear was around 21 lbs(18x10.5). Stronger? No clue. Not an issue. I am sure GM designed a strong enough rim for there 170 plus mph stock 01-04 Z06.I would be just guessing. I would say an aftermarket 17x11 rims is around 27lbs.
