Drained the cooling system and replaced the coolant; drained the oil, but couldn't get the oil filter off, finally had to muscle the filter and pulled the oil cooler adapter with it; that made it easier to drain the coolant from the engine block. I'm waiting for an adapter to my brake bleeder to bleed the brake fluid; just waiting for the fuel tank to arrive, then fire the motor, let the power steering pump pump out the fluid (while added new fluid) I think I'm going to take the car to a lube service and have them pump the tranny; then I'll drop the pan and change the filter. More later

Talk about an amazing difference when you see the dirty version and the clean one. A true diamond covered in dirt!!

One thing's for sure... When you get it running again you'll be the one to either prove or disprove all the dry rot warnings that pour in from those who worry about cars that have been stored and not driven regularily (other than the rotten gas tank I guess!).

I'm just getting it in shape and then going to try to sell it for him on Ebay or Hemmings. If I had to guess, I would say that the rubber and seals on this car will be just fine. The door and window seals are like new; I haven't seen anything that looks bad, besides the fuel tank; only time will tell

The fuel tank came in today at almost 5:00PM, but at least I was able to stick it in the sub-frame and hopefully finish it up tomorrow. Spent a few hours today buffing the paint
