Whats your reaction time?
Did you reduce the rear tire pressure?
How did you control wheel spin?
Did you disable the traction control?

Tires are everything at your stage of the game.
You need to hook up and hook up consistantly...meaning your 60 ft times should be almost the same run after run.
Then you work on your RT, launch, shift points etc.
Remember, your RT has NOTHING to do with your ET.
Try some Drag Radials. I use BFG's on the street, some people like the new MT tire.

14's with a '95?
I'm just playing. To get a better launch trying launching at different rpms, say 1500-2000 off the line. You may actually want to add some more air to your tires if you cant hook up. Dont feel bad, couldnt be any worse than my first time at the track.

a 2.0 60ft you would be in the mid 13s no problem. You are probably running the Nitto 555 street tires and not the 555Rs right ??

YOu can cut a half second off your 60.
Are you getting wheel slip or not?
Are you leaving off idle? When mine was stock I would tach it up around 5k and then role into it with little wheel spin.

When you say MT, do you mean Mickey Thompson? I have a set of ET Street Radials and I am not sure that I like them. Oh, they hook fantastic, tear your head off your shoulders fantastic! The problem is that I broke a half shaft after only about five passes, was tacking the the engine up to 5000 when a doing burn out and then launching at 4500. Way too much for a stick shift C4 apparently. M/T Street Radials may be a tad too sticky (if there is such a thing) for the aluminum drivetrains in these cars. I was told the BFG Drag Radials are about as sticky as you really need to go with the stock drivetrain and try to launch a little more gently than 4500 RPM.
Like I said, I use BFG's but some people like MT's.
Breaking your Half Shaft is more of an issue of your car being a manual.
Launching at 4500 would shock the crap outta your drive train.
With an auto, you pre load the drive train with torque and let it fly.
After so much HP with an auto you will break/twist half shafts as well.
Mine are custom steel by the way.

Yes I am running the nitto 555 street tires.
I tried all launching at idle, 2.5k,3k. only got 4 runs last run was idle and I missed 2nd
I really think its these tires. 2.3 60' is just rediculous!
