Hi,

I have the proform valve covers with a 1.25 diameter oil fill opening.

I have been using the Trans-Dapt filler plug



but it has fallen off twice, and I am looking for a more positive plug arrangement.

Does anyone make a better set-up for a push-in (track worthy at 6500rpm)?

Could a machine shop cut a thread into the cover?

Any adapters available?

6,500 rpms - you sure its not blowing off

I'm using a billet cap and rubber grommet in my cover. Good and tight, just they way I like it.
