Default Does ANYONE make a scatter shield for 6sp C4's???

I've been asking around and can't seem to find one.

I need to make NCCC Group III requirements.
and want to make NHRA requirements.

I could go with a trans blanket, but with the exhaust right underneath the transmission, I really don't want anything that will retain the heat.

How are you guys running 10's meeting track regulations

I doubt that you'll find anyone that lists one for the C4.
you could have a custom one made, Lakewood does custom ones but I bet it megga $$$$$$.
the blanket would most likely be alot cheaper way to go, if its allowed.
I too have wondered how all these 11 sec and better vettes can be legal?

Brian, I am afraid you are out of luck. I believe your only option is a trans blanket. I bought mine from Chute Metal Products and it was quite reasonable - around $75 if I recall. They do not "stock" them however, and you will need to measure your trans and tell them where you want the securing eyelets placed. I'd be glad for you to prove me wrong - if you find a legal scatterschield let us all know.

Like Red rocket,
I am runing the exoctic muscle blanket. Fit is good. A little tuff getting the top blanket eyelets to the top belhousing bolts. :cry
I believe it is SFI certified so that should pass the track officials.

After reading George Crouse's reply
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zero...595546#1595546
I'm going to go ahead and get the blanket! OUCH!

I asked Lakewood ( owned by Mr. Gasket ) and got an online reply

So I asked the ZF doc and got this
Brian,
Don't know of any true scattershield type setup.
Exotic Muscle here in Phoenix AZ has certified scattershield blankets.
(480) 967-4222.
FYI - It's a tough fit, eisier when engine and bellhousing (w/out
trans) is tilted down some.

If you don't mind me asking,... What year Vette and how much
torque are you putting through the ZF trannie?
What mods outside of the motor? turbo, super, nitrous?
'93-'96 are vulnerable to 2nd gear failure resulting in a large
window put in the passenger side of the case.
The synchronizer clutch body is spline fit then crushed
instead of the older stronger welded type of attached body.

Just looking on the safe side,

suddenly I'm liking the idea of a blanket.
