Default Super Charger Air Filter Relocation

Gentlemen,

I finally am getting off my duff and going to relocate the air filter on my ATI super charged 90 L-98. I found that a Optima Red Top 75/35 will fit nicely in the passager side storage compartment of my vert. I will have some custom battery cables made up. Here are my questions:

1. Aside from that rigid aluminum dyer vent tube, you can get at Home Repo, what is a good material and source for a tube to relocate the air filter to the battery location? I think the aluminum dryer tube stuff will look tackey.

2. What do the battery cables connect to? In the shop manual, it appears there are three connections, one to the jump start connection block behind the battery, another to the ECM via a fusible link and a third to the starter solinoid.

3. Can I just run a mamoth positive cable directy to the starter solinoid or how best to tie it to the positive original battery connection point?

4. What is a good ground point near the rear of the car for the negitive battery cable? Can I ground it to the differential or do I need to go all the way back to the engine block?

As always, your help is very much appreciated.
