Default gas smell from engine comp

87 350 tpi getting gas smell can't find any leaks any suggestions

one possability is your fuel pressure regulator

i think your car has a cold start valve (csv) or a "9th injector". look (and feel) at/around the connection at the back of the fuel rail near the left valve cover.

Also, sniff around your charcoal canister and it's hoses.

What do you mean when you say "charcoal canister"? I have never heard that term before.

Mine was leaking too. I took all that out and rerouted the gas fumes into my wheel well

O ring on an injector maybe leaking. Only had a gas smell when the engine was cold, opened the hood and saw a small puddle of gas on the intake by the leaking injector. Replaced all the o rings and problem solved.
