LT1 Heads on L98

Burning Brakes
how are you getting 6000 bucks to convert a L98 to LT1 heads/intake? you can do a complete LT1 swap for that much with a new LT1 motor!!
LT1 heads are like 300-400 bucks
refresh them for 200 in parts if that
work to the heads probly less than 500. all you need is plates welded on to the coolant ports and then mill the heads flat which is like 80-100 bucks to mill it a hair. then coolant lines tapped into the side of the head
then necessary lines/fuel lines etc. custom bracketry to keep all the accessories could pose a problem but certainly not 3-4 thousand dolllars more
if you want 300+ crank hp, get a miniram/LT1 manifold coverted, or holley stealth ram. get 1.6 rockers and full supporting bolt ons. good tune will dyno 260ish whp and be around 325 at the crank or so

$1500 /210 AFR heads /cost eficient over LT1 heads
over $1000 /rebuilt 3.07 differential
over $3000 /super ram
over $300 for 409 cam
$900 long tube headers
the holley stealth wont work on my daily driver since it lacks EGR sys., I think I could go with a FIRST unit and that will save me a couple of thousands. I am still looking at something close to $5000 when done but I think it would be a great set up for a street every day car.

This Third Gen F-body...Super-Ram will fit a 1987 Vette?
I will be in the market for one if you are all certain that this will bolt-on. What parts, etc. are included?
Thanks for any and All Info, Take Care and Be Safe, -John
