How to firm up shifts? Hypertech or Transgo
I would like to firm up the transmission so the 1-2 shift at least chirps the tires at full throttle.:yesnod: Will the Hypertech do this or should I try a Transgo kit. I do not race the car, so I do not want to compromise the streetability. Thanks for the help. :seeya

Re: How to firm up shifts? Hypertech or Transgo (SLOWBUSA)
the Hypertech is easily reversable, which is a benefit.
I used the Hypertech, and it did exactly what you are wanting. It would snap my head back. It seemed to cut the shift "speeds" in half.
That was with the stock converter.
Once I put in the Vig TC, i needed the programmer just to return the "feel" to normal.
If I wanted to get the "firm" shifts now, i would need the shift kit.
But, to say again, I was totaly happy with the programmer, with the stock converter.
Is there a chance you could borrow one long enough to test?
