VMax camber lock bar now available
Speed Hound Parts is pleased to announce we have added VMax Motorsports' camber lock bar to our parts offerings. This bar is tubular and lightweight. Installation is quick and easy. We are running this bar on Project C4orce and were very pleased with the design. As soon as we get C4orce together we will be throwing it into some turns testing this bar and everything else out.
The bar can be seen here
http://speedhound.com/header/Vmaxcamberlock.html
Introductory price is $170. This price will end with the end of our Christmas/End of the Year sale the first week in January.
Thanks
Trey

This is a nice piece. I saw it at one of the local shows and it is quite a bit lighter than my RD brace. No electric water pump version though.

At this time I have no idea. We'll see once we get closer to finishing the car and see what else is going on. We have to spend some time getting the QA1s sorted out as well. Maybe we will be able to do some quantitative testing and not just feel for a difference.

I have no directions to post for you, sorry. All you do is remove the two forward upper control arm bolts then install the new supplied bolts from the outside facing in. All spacers stay in their same location. The new bolts are longer. You slide the bar between the upper control arm frame horns and onto the new bolts. The install the nut onto the end of the bolts and tighten. I can find a picture of it installed. I'll also add a picture to my website of it installed. It's not a difficult installation.

It's not installed in these pictures but youo can see that the forward upper conotrol arm bolts have been replaced and turned around. The camber lock fits right there. I'll add a picture to my website tonight and post the link then. Thanks.

Brian, can you send me a picture of your install? I have no idea the clearences. The bars themselves were design to work on stock cars and not necessarily with blowers or anything. So it's simply a matter of seeing if it'll work. Also look for the link of it innstalled later tonight.
Thanks

VMax says it does. I also just realized when looking for your car that they do not have one for the 90-91 cars. I need to go change my website now. doh!
PLRX, if the brace slipped right in and you didn't force it in or have to pull it tight with the bolts, it should not be causing an issue. If you take it to the alignment shop as is, they should be able to check it for you and tell you if your specs are out or if you have tire problems. When installed correctly, these bars should not effect your static camber settings. They should prevent them from changing as you corner.

It differs somewhat from the regular install, a different belt tensioner.

After the sale they will go up to $190. PM away. Apparently as a vendor I get 10000 PMs before I'm full. That rocks.
Brian, it's not going to work for you. Sorry.
