This sucks everytime I open the door after a nice rain fall water just dumps out of the bottom of the door jam and the carpet along the bottom of the door panel is soaked! It's the same on both sides. My door panels are in bad shape, but I'd like to replace them eventually. The only way I see that the water could be getting in is due to a worn out weather stripping piece. The piece that seals at the back of the windows and the back of the top is worn very badly. Is the water coming in there and running all the way down the door and accumulating at the bottom? Anyone else have this problem?

You are right. You need to change out the worn weatherstripping. I did, and it really helped.
