Default ATTN: John, Dennis and the other "7730 Club", What is the MAXIMUM RPM'S that a 7730 will allow????

 I was told that it will only allow 6400 RPM's, but I read that John and Dennis are spinning to 7000+ with their 7730 ECM's. I have a 7730 based system now, but since my next engine will see 7000-7200 RPM's, I might have to switch to DFI version 6.32. Any Help on the subject would be GREAT GUYS:D :D

For tuning purposes only. the 7730 can only have Timing values set UP TO 5600rpms

So you can spin the motor as high as you want or it will go. the only thing is what ever value was set at 5600 will be the same from that point and above

It looks like the VE tables are limited to 5600 rpm also. Go with the aftermarket. The spark issue isn't that bad but you won't get max hp without proper values in the VE table. 1400 - 1600 more rpm is a big range to be stuck at one VE value.
