Help with 84
Car wont start has new fule pump and sending unit, new relay has spark at the plug turns over fine, wont start, cant here fule pump runing this car has run with all the new parts and the car has been stored and not started in 7or8 month's. also at times their seems to be a short in some of the wires located on the wheel well drivers side.

Did you check your fuses? The fuel pump relay is located on the fire wall of the drivers side. Once in a while my connector will loosen up and keep the FP from turning on. Thats something easy to look at. If you don't have a FSM manual that would be a good thing to have. That will be your best friend.
If you know how to use a DVM then you may need to check and see where and where you don't have voltage when the key is on.

If you don't hear the fuel pump turn on when you turn the key on I doubt you'll have gas at the injectors.
Check your fuses..do you have voltage at the pump when you turn the key on? Work backwards, it sounds like an electrical problem
