Default 2nd Dyno run - Much Better

Quick summary - Last Saturday went to speednation for a Mustang Dyno testing. Not happy with HP or 1/4 mile runs. Found out my timing was off and I had an major intake leak.
Corrected items and here are my comparison.

Original 2nd visit
MaxPower 198.6 @ 4250 Rpm ------------206.0 @ 4250 RPM
Max Torque 275.80 @ 3250 RPM ------------ 284.4 @ 3250 RPM

1/4 mile ORIGINAL 2nd Visit
Time Speed Time Speed
100 Yrds 5.884 @ 59.680 ----------- 5.442 @ 61.273
200 Yrds 8.896 @ 76.579 ------------8.354 @ 75.643
300 Yrds 11.386 @ 85.728 -----------10.834 @ 88.227
400 Yrds 13.617 @ 95.621 -----------13.033 @ 97.276
60Feet 2.289 @ 30.260 ----------- 2.038 @ 33.438
1/4 Mile 14.451 @ 98.581 -----------13.856 @ 100.311

0 to 60 Did not run original ---------------- 5.15

I do not think this is too bad for a tired old 1985 engine.

Well that is better, but I still think you have more in her! :) Has Craig recalibrated your chip for the new stuff?

Default Re: (scorp508)

I did contact Craig - a chip is suppose to be in the works. Right now I am not that concerned since the car will be going into hybernation. New Chip will give me a reason to go to the dyno next year.

Befor the Intake Mods my best time was 14.6 @ 93, my goal after mods was mid to high 13's and I am there. I am not that concerned with HP #'s since I am hitting decent times.
