Default What kind of plugs do you use?

I am not talking brands, but you can put that too if you want. I want to know what kind of metal you guys use: iridium, platinum, copper?

Is it true that the platinum and iridium are just good b/c they last longer, but the copper are better plugs b/c they conduct better? I have heard this, and just want to veryify that it's true.

I used Bosch Platinums just because I've always put them in any car I had and they have always worked well for me. Anytime I've pulled them to check they still look like new.

FR5LS .035

I am curious on the CUT BACK'S. Scorp tried 'em and said they helped pick up a little(I can't argue with a 13.4@101 on a pretty much stock car). Have to try it sometime.

AC Delco Platinum Plugs...Why? I DON'T KNOW! The engine is all stock and it has run fine with them so I just used them again...Dumb reason huh?

Did you notice any advantage of having copper plugs, over the platinums. All that I have ever had were platinum, so I was just curious.

I just got the copper ones b/c the guy at speed demon motorsports told me that the copper was better, and plus they were on special with taylor wires. 58 dollars for 8mm wires and NGK plugs, can't beat that.

I thought it ran better. Just a seat of the pants feel though. Only downside is having to change them more often.

Did you cut the electrodes, and how long did they last?

I went with original AC delco, I think because of the amount of mileage I put on the car, now that I drive it less I would consider the other plugs.
