A bunch of us are going to the track this sun. anybody want to guess what I'll run. I'll be on street tires and my mods are in my sig. The closest person wins......ok nothing but maybe some bragging rights :cheers:
ps my short times were consistant 2.0's but that was in stock trim.

I was attracted to this thread by the subject matter and the forum name. I thought is was going to be a post by another crossfire guy. I can't hazzard an educated guess on a '90. One observation, though, your modifications all seem to be biased towards the top end. Don't be too suprised if your 60' actually gets slower. Some of those mods will kill bottom end. I look forward to an "after" report.

My '90 COMPLETELY UN TOUCHED with 2.59 gears in september air did a 13.9@98 ZERO MODS. I left it in "D" and matted it off the line. I think it was like a 2.0 something 60'. It went 14.01@98.1 after a few hours.

Not too sure where you should be....maybe in the 12's ?

You're kidding right ? That set-up is all about low to midrange torque.

I'm going to guess a 13.4 @ 107 mph.... nobody runs even close to their potential their 1st time out.... especially on street tires. But your set-up is good for deep 12's once you get some sticky tires and practice a bit....

65Z01- its a zf6 with 3:33's.
My cars is all about the torque. It seems to quit pulling at 5500 or so. I would love to see some low 13's. My goal is mid 12's after exhaust and drag radials.

oh yeah, its supposed to be mid fifties. I don't know about the barometer or humidity. I'll take my little weather station.

How did you get 3.33s in a '90 coupe? I thought '89 was the only year for that and then the 3.45s were dropped in '90 when the ZR1 came out? :confused:

I dunno- I've been told about three different gear ratios for my car. Somebody told my that GT7 was the 3:33 ratio. I'm just going on what people have told me . You think they're 3:45's? :confused:

Almost all of the 90's had 3.33's in them. If you had a 6spd of course. The 3.45's were not common until the later years.
