day light running lights problem
a few months ago i purchased the day light running kit from Webelectric products that i saw on this forum to fit my 1991 vette.
# drl-1c4.
www.webelectricproducts.com
any way i managed to install ok and all worked well.
you turn igntion on they came on,you started the car, they came on,you turned parkers on ,they then went off like they are supposed too, you turn pop up head lights on ,then went off also.
now a couple of months later,i have noticed now that when battery is connected even with igntion off completely,no accesories key even on, that the day light running lights are on but glowing very faintly like dim.
now just recently i have had a stand alone ecm after market computer installed where it is piggy backing the old 1991 730 ac delco set up.
so baically the new after market stand alone ecm will be running the engine side of things and the ac delco 730 will run the rest of the car.
i was told that this is ok to do.
what could this be ??,
bad earth connection may be ??
or water got into module possibly ??
or low battery volts ??
has this any thing to do with sharing wires from old ac delco 730 ecm to the new stand alone haltech may be ??
any help and advise would be much appreciated .
thanks.

thanks for your replys.
i will try what you suggested.
also i for got to mention that my turn signal stork is broken near the column and is sloppy due to missing one pin and internal plastic bracket is worn/stuffed.
may be there is a wire worn and touching there ??
cheers guys.
thanks for your help.
The yellow wire is power for the DRL module.
The instructions on their web-site suggests using 12 volts from the fan relay. You should only have 12 volts on the Yellow wire when the ignition is in run or start.
How much voltage do you measure on the Yellow wire to ground with the ignition off and the headlight switch off?
