You are better off getting them coated. HPC makes a real nice coating for them. From what I hear it is better than the Jet Hot stuff. Although I have used the Jet Hot with no problems what so ever. That is what was on the LPE 1 3/4 long tubes that I had.
Who's black vette is that? That thing looks sweet. Too bad its not a 6spd. Great pics though...
It is a guy in my area who is a cruiser. He has never run the car at the track, and has stated that he never will. The first time he put sticky tires on it he would shatter the drivetrain. :) The drivetrain is completely stock. :(
The car is a supercharged 383 w/nitrous. You do the math. :D
I sent a couple of pics to Curtis629 and asked him to post them for me. One is the underside of the hood showing the pieces that keep Water from entering the engine compartment. The second pic I was trying to show down into the louvers. [IMG][/IMG]
How bout it Curtis629 are you able to do this, would sure like to see some more of this Greenwood louver. Tried my local Kroger bookrack they didn't have VETTE anything left, you would almost think these cars are popular or something! :yesnod:
I've had no luck posting the pic. I'll try again tomorrow. In the mean time anyone that want's to email me, I'll forward it to you. Also, I"ve got the copy of the Vette Mag with the Black car. No really good pics of the louver in it.
OK, thanks Curtis629 for the reply. Sorry I didn't get back sooner but I have been working some long hours and seven day weeks here lately, I jump on board here whenever I am able. I will e-mail you for pics also until you are able to post.
Scorp 508, thanks for posting the pictures for me. The top of the hood picture I am trying to show down into the louvers over the wheel wells. In the under the hood picture I am trying to show how the pieces protect the engine from rain. [IMG][/IMG]
Hey Mike, thanks for the e-mail and everyone else involved in this thread for the pics. I gotta get something done along this line those things really highlight the hood besides being functional. When ever I can work myself up enough think I will get ahold of Greenwood Co. see what they have to say. :seeya
