Default '87 bucks & jerks at lower speeds

Hello everyone,
I posted this in general discussion by mistake so I'm re-posting.I have an '87 that idles fine, and runs great at higher speeds, but at lower speeds (30-45) it bucks & jerks. Please help me diagnose this problem.I have the FSM and I have completed a search,I just need a better starting point or something to focus on.Thanks to everyone who offers help.

If it is an auto car could it be your lock up cycling that you are feeling?

Great place to start is by check your fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Also check your bleed down times with proceedures outlined your FSM.

The next time that it does it lightly touch the brake (enough for the lights) and see if that is what is going on. That will un-lock the converter.
Easy way to check.

If you already thought of this I apologize, there are many experience levels here and do not mean any offense

I think tc problem, I should not say problem ,depending, but I know this is common on these cars, that is why the hypertech chips and or others claim to make it lock up at a set speed so you don't get this bucking.
