Default Reverse Glow Instrument cluster problem

Well I am to the point of replacing the clusters themselves.....but they operate electrically with a transformer in which I need to find a power source from. I bought it from corvette guys but they didn't have any instructions online or with the package. I can't find anywhere to hook it up to...anyone have any experience with this or any idea's to get this beast slapped together?

What in the world are you talking about? C4's have a (one) cluster. Cars operate from a 12v battery (direct current) and transformers require alternating current.

I tap into the headlight switch power, so I only have power to glow gauges when the headlights are on.

Alright lol I double checked and it's a power inverter..but still it turns DC to AC..which I am assuming the glow takes AC. I am having some difficulty getting the runninglight/headlight panel off and I seriously can't find any tech information on the web in reference to this. Just trying to keep it a simple install. I checked on some Nissan forums and they reference connecting it to the needles. not sure if they would be the same type of needles I have. Was tempted to take apart my little brother's 200sx to see exactly what they are talking about lol.

This is for your 93, right! You must unbolt the steering column and lower it to get the cluster out. Then I ran the inverter wires threw the whole at the lower left corner . Where the plug is for the cluster. I didn't want to mess with tapping into the pins.

Yea, it's a 93...and I see exactly where I will have to wire the inverter to. It has pretty easy access to the headlight/runninglight wires and I would like to connect it to the running lights...however I have run into another problem...which wires are which? Chilton's manual doesn't show which are which... i see each is diagramed with a b c d e and so on and when i put "I/P harness diagram headlight switch" into google nothing really comes up. I do realize the big *** one is the headlight and if all else fails I will connect it to that...but either than that I will still need to figure out which one is the ground unless I slap the ground onto the car itself.
