Default RSD Now Introduces The C4 Line Lock Kit!!!!

All right who is ready to get there tires hotter, without damaging your brakes or rearend, and step up to that milestone that you have been chasing...Come on get the line Loc that fits al C4, C5, & C6 Vettes! Heat up those tires and get those 60' times that you see everybody else getting!

It all started when we found out there was no line lock kits or parts available for 97 and early 98 Corvettes. we searched high and low and finally built our own kit. We contracted a high pressure hose company to build some special one of a kind stainless steel hoses so that ALL C5 and C6 vettes could use my Line Loc Kits. By ordering a few different hoses, the bracket and everything else works for the C4. There is no removal of stock brake lines, no bending, flaring, any modification to your car. We built a bracket that hangs the solenoid directly under the Master cylinder, they are anodized black Aluminum and hang right on the brake master cylinder mounting bolts.

These kits are generation specific, Specify C4, C5, or C6. The price is $220 shipped for all three kit. Included in the kit is the custom Anodized mounting brackets, Solenoid, 2 custom SS Hoses, all the adapter fittings, wire to connect, momentary switch, fuse holder and fuse, wiring connectors, complete installation instructions with pictures… Everything but the tools to complete the installation.
This kit is a very clean installation that easily goes back to stock. Your factory parts are still in place and all you do is remove the stainless lines and re-connect the stock hard line.

Just an FYI..

The 85 (and likely 84) have a slightly different master cylinder with seperate left and right outputs for the front. 86 and up have one output blocked and obviously there must be "T" in the system.

Just wanted to give you the heads-up in case an 84-85 owner purchases and has questions or problems with the install. Or, you can borrow an 85 master cylinder from the parts store and perhaps add a fitting or line to the kit for 84, 85s.

Either way, nice looking kit and as always we C4 owners appreciate inclusion in the development of new products.

Wow,
Do you know if this was just with some option like ABS or all 85's? We did quite a lot of development time with 4 different C4's, but admittedly only a 86, 89, 92, and 95. I bet the kit would work just fine holding the car with only one front brake on. I have read of several C5 owners who did that right at the ABS unit. I need to know more. Do you have any pics you could share with me? I will pass it onto our R&D group......Thanks for the tip.
Steve

I know there are more drag racers out there. Don't think you have to have Drag Radials to need a line Loc. Richie Rich is pulling down some 1.7 60' times with Pilot Sport 2's because the line Loc allows him to get the street compound tire warn. Come and get them!

ABS cars I have worked on ,'87+ have Front / Rear lines to ABS unit , then a seperate line to each caliper so the ABS can control each wheel independently

The non ABS cars have the front port underneath the M/C tapped to supply the 2nd front line.
It is just a blank casting on the later model cyl

I have an 87 C4 that I would like to purchase this system for. Are these still available and for the price you have listed above?

Thank you,

Mike
