Re: Bosch Injectors (Jim D)
Jim D,
Bosh was the original injector of choice by GM for the 85-88 vettes. Due to quality issues GM replaced many of them under warranty with Lucas injectors. If you are going to use 24 lb/hr injectors instead of stock units I would buy Accel or Ford Motorsports 24 lb/hr units from JEGS or Summit or Rich at Cruizin Performance for around $229. I replaced my original 22 lb/hr units (88 L-98) with Accel 24 lb/hr units from Summit. No complaints so far. The shipping was free and there was no tax so I paid $219 total last July. Ford Motorsports are made by Bosch. The FMS injectors are supposed to be quality units. Check ebay. You can usually find some new car take-offs for about $175-200.
